In version 6.5 of PDF2XL Enterprise, a new handy feature was introduced - Batch Conversion Processing.
A few basic things you need to understand about the Enterprise batch conversion feature are:
- Document converter – To convert any visual document like Excel, PDF, Word to HTML just paste the doc in the visual editor and the markup will show up instantly on the right. Online text editor – Compose documents, just like in a rich text editor. Use the control panel to include images, tables, headings, lists and other items to your paper.
- BATCH CONVERT TOOL Batch Convert Latitude, Longitude to UK Grid Reference or UK Grid Reference to Latitude longitude. Follow the steps below to convert location data from one format (osgb36 to wgs84 or wgs84 to osgb36) to another. Your data can be tab or comma separated (the character between your data fields).
Download Advanced Batch Image Converter for free. Multiplatform tool for batch image conversion. ABIC is a multiplatform tool for converting images from and to a wide variety of formats, for example: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, JPEG-2000, WebP. It can also read some historic ones, in particular Amiga IFF (ILBM).
- Only 'like' documents can be converted using the batch conversion tool. You can convert many documents if they are using the same structure because the batch conversion tool relies on a singular layout to do so. Unfortunately, it is simply not possible to convert documents of varying structures using this feature.
- This is not an automated process. It does require that you open the tool and select the documents to be converted.
- Files will be converted into their own individual Excel files (this can only convert into the Excel format) - you cannot use this process to convert all your documents into one sheet.
- If you are using a macro, you will need to save the layout with the macro applied to maintain your output. More detailed instructions for this are at the bottom of this article.
- Since the batch function needs to create a new process for each document, it will take more time to complete a conversion.
- PDF2XL Enterprise ver. 6.5 was created mainly for desktop usage. If you have large numbers of files to convert or require automation, we recommend you purchase our newest version of PDF2XL Enterprise found here: https://pdf2xl.com/pricing/

- Enter the title of the recipe (optional)
- Type in or copy and paste the ingredients section of a recipe into the ingredient list text area.Note: The copy and paste feature may not work properly for some recipe sites or food blogs due to the way the site formats their text. The copy and paste feature may also not work properly for certain mobile browsers. If this happens, the ingredients can be typed in or each line that was pasted into the text area can be edited. See below comments for details.
- If necessary, edit the ingredients so that they are in standard recipe format and each word or number is separated by a space.
(The standard recipe format for ingredients starts with the quantity, followed by the unit measure, and ends with the ingredient.) - Edit the recipe so that each ingredient line is on a new line. (New lines are created by pressing enter.)
Wifi explorer 2 3 1. 1 cup milk

1 tsp salt - Edit each line so that quantities and words are separated by a space.
- Check the 'Round conversion to nearest cooking fraction' box if you want the converted ingredient quantities to be rounded to the nearest cooking fraction. (Checked by default).Note: When rounding to nearest fraction, any quantities less than 1/8 will be rounded up to 1/8.

- Press the multiply, divide, or portion button and the converted recipe will be displayed in the converted recipe text area.Note: Only numbers placed at the beginning of each line will be automatically converted. To convert other numbers that are on the same line, use the ## operator to indicate that you would like that number to be converted. To use the ## operator, place a ## in front of each number you would like to convert while leaving a space after that number. The ## operator can be placed in front of a number that is in decimal or fraction format. For more tips on how to use the ## operator, visit our How to use scale operators section. See comments below for other details.
1 1/4 cup banana (about ##3 bananas)
3/4 cup butter (##1 1/2 sticks)
1 cup sugar (##200 g)
1 pound ##5 ounces flour
3 to ##4 eggs - Check the converted recipe for correctness. If necessary, the converted recipe can be manually edited.
- The converted recipe can be printed or copied and pasted into a document.
Comments:
- Fractions can be entered as a quantity. When using fractions, separate whole numbers from fractions with a space.
- Make sure to remove any bullet points that may appear before the quantity or at the start of each line.
- Ingredients do not require a unit measure.
Excel download. 1 watermelon = '1 watermelon'.
- Ingredients that have a quantity range will not convert properly. To accomplish this, please see the note about using the '##' operator above.
'3 to 4 cups bananas' (multiplied by 2) will incorrectly be converted to: '6 to 4 cups bananas'
'3-4 cups bananas' (multiplied by 2) will not be converted and will display the original text. - Always check the converted recipe for correctness.
- Check to make sure the cooking/baking instructions are updated as a result of the conversion.
